Choosing the Best Paper Trimmers: Pros and Cons Explained
For this video project, I compare, contrast, and demonstrate three styles of paper trimmers used in cardmaking: guillotine, blade, and rotary. At the end of the video, I go over my favorite in each category and my reasoning behind that.

Guillotine Trimmers:
In the video, I show three variations of guillotine paper trimmers. These include a deckle-edge trimmer, mini trimmer, and medium-sized trimmer.
**Look for a guillotine trimmer that has a ledge on the bottom of the trimmer as well as the top.**

Blade-style Trimmers:
In the video, I show three variations of blade paper trimmers. These include Stampin’ Up! Paper Trimmer, Spellbinders Paper Trimmer and Scorer, and Tim Holtz Precision Paper Trimmer.
**Some trimmers have a blade and a score tool that you can keep on the same track. This may be a great value to you and your cardmaking process.**

Rotary-style Trimmers:
In the video, I show two variations of rotary-style paper trimmers. These include Tim Holtz Rotary Paper Trimmer and Fiskars ProCision Rotary Paper Trimmer.
**Rotary trimmers can cut through many different types of materials and are heavy-duty.**
