Lisa Horton Crafts NEW Color/Colour Shift Inks
For this video project, I unboxed and swatched the new Lisa Horton Crafts Color/Colour Shift Inks Set 1: Watermelon Spritz, Fruit Punch, Coral Waters, Peanut Glow, Avocado Gold, Summer Sky, Under the Sea, Golden Heather, Lilac Meadow, and Lagoon Punch.

I also compared the new colors to the Lisa Horton Crafts Matt Colors and Interference Inks. To demonstrate what the colors look like and their capabilities, I used the BetterPress Press Plates from Lisa Horton Crafts called Butterfly Silhouettes, and the Lisa Horton Crafts Floral Frenzy Embossing Folder and Stencil Set.
If Matt Ink and Interference Ink got together, it would create the consistency of Color Shift Ink.

In Tim Holtz Distress Ink terms, if Distress Oxide and Distress Spritz got together, it would be similar to the consistency of Color Shift Ink, for another comparison.

The color/colour shift inks from Lisa Horton Crafts are incredible!! They have a creamy texture with a subtle shimmer. The inks are amazing for ink blending and layering due to their pigment-like base, and you can also do all the same techniques that you would do with Interference Inks. I have a playlist on YouTube with more ideas for Interference Inks if you want to know what they (and the Color Shift inks) can do!
