Concord & 9th Vintage Card with Paper Posy Dies

In this video project, I made a vintage-inspired A6 card using the Concord & 9th Paper Posy Stamp and Die Set. All products used are listed below.

Measurements
A6 Card Base: 4 1/2 x 6 1/4" when folded 
9 x 6 1/4", Score at 4 1/2" 
Patterned Paper Panel: 4 1/4 x 6"

Card Instructions

For this card, I first cut out a bunch of flower pieces and leaves from some specialty textured papers in beiges, tans, and white shades. I then used a blending brush, with Tim Holtz Distress Ink in Scorched Timber, to add ink on the edges of the die cuts to make them looked more vintage. After that, I put together the flower layers using glue, mixing and matching all the colors and shapes to come up with unique-looking flowers.

Putting the card together

I cut out a 4 1/4 x 6″ section from a piece of Tim Holtz From the Vault Wallflower paper pack, specifically the section with pink/purple flowers in the background. I distressed the edges of the panel using the Tim Holtz Distresser tool, and then added Scorched Timber ink to the edges.

For the A6 card base, I cut a piece of Neenah Desert Storm 100lb. to 9 x 6 1/4″, then scored and folded it at 4 1/2″. I added Scorched Timber Ink to the edges of the card base as well. I wrapped a piece of pink/purple frayed chiffon ribbon around the card panel, and added the panel to the card base using Simon Says Stamp Big Momma Foam tape.

I then added all of the flowers and foliage to the card front using thin and regular foam squares and glue. After that, I positioned the card in my Misti Stamping Tool and stamped the Thinking of You sentiment from the Paper Posy Stamp Set, in Scorched Timber ink.
