Create Stunning Thinking Of You Cards with Gina K Designs
In this video project, I made a Thinking Of You card using the new Gina K Designs Ruffled Blooms Stamp, Die, Stencil, and Embossing Folder from the Floral Fix Kit. For the unboxing video and blog post about the May 2025 Gina K Designs release, check it out here. I made an additional card using the Ruffled Blooms Embossing Folder and Die using the ink swiping technique for you to check out.

Card Instructions
For this card, I first stamped the large floral stamp onto Accent Opaque cardstock with Altenew Jet Black ink. Here’s a picture of what the stamp set looks like:

After stamping, I lined up the stamped image inside the embossing folder, and then ran the folder through my Sizzix Switch machine. I used the Gina K Designs Sticky Mat to hold the card panel in place while I did the stenciling. For the flowers, I used the Orchid Trio of inks, with Wild Dandelion for the flower centers. I used the Spruce Trio for the leaves and stems.
Once the stenciling was complete, I used the coordinating die to cut out the floral image. Because this squished the 3D embossing on the flowers, I then re-embossed the floral image using the embossing folder. This popped out the floral image again, and “erased” any marks on the die cut left from the die cutting. This die has bridges to hold the inside parts together, and sometimes these bridges can leave imprints in the die cuts, depending on the pressure of your die cut machine. Using the embossing folder again erases all the extra imprints and smoothes out the die cut once more.
I embossed a 4 5/8 x 5 5/8″ panel of Accent Opaque White using the Gina K Designs Gingham embossing folder. I cut a 4 7/8 x 5 7/8″ black mat to place behind the white panel. The card base is 5 x 6″ when folded (10 x 6″, scored at 5″). I attached the white panel to the black panel, and then both panels to the card base.
Finishing up the card
I put Simon Says Stamp Big Momma Foam Tape behind the floral die cut, and added the die cut to the front panel. Then I stamped the sentiment “Thinking Of You” on white cardstock, and die cut it with the coordinating die. I cut out two additional die cuts to glue behind the stamped image to pop it up. I cut off the two bottom layers near the ‘n’ in Thinking Of You, so the left side of the sentiment would lay flat over the popped up flower. Then I glued the sentiment onto the card front, and added some Gina K Designs Dew Drop Embellishments to finish up the card.

Hope you enjoyed this card project!
