Remix Your Stash! Gina K Designs Ruffled Blooms Mini Slimline Card
For this project, I remixed my stash and used older items from a Gina K Designs set called Ruffled Blooms. This is my most-watched card tutorial ever, and I wanted to change things up and give the products a new look.
I used the Ruffled Blooms embossing folder, stencil set, and stamp set, along with Master Layouts 7, to make this Springy mini slimline card. All products I used in this project are listed below.
Measurements:
Card Base: 3 1/4 x 6 1/4"

Ruffled Blooms Set
The Ruffled Blooms Set was a part of the Floral Fix Card Kit from Gina K Designs back in May 2025. The Ruffled Blooms Set includes: stamp set, die set, stencil set, and embossing folder with flower die. There are also coordinating Poly-glaze sheets.

I have two previous projects using the Ruffled Blooms set. For the first card, I used the stamp set, die set, embossing folder, and stencil to make the card, along with Orchid and Spruce inks. Check out the video and blog post if you want to view this related project.
For the second card, I used the die set and embossing folder, along with an ink-swiping technique. I also spritzed the florals with a Perfect Pearls and water mix to add lots of shimmer and shine. Check out the video and blog post to view this project.

Embossing and Stenciling
I first cut a panel from Gina K Designs White Heavyweight cardstock using Master Layouts 7 (which is geared towards mini slimline cards), as well as a mat layer from Black Onyx. I embossed the white panel using the embossing folder, and then stenciled in the embossed image.
For the petals, I used the Gina K Designs Lilac Trio, with Butterscotch ink for the flower centers. On the leaves and stems, I used the Spruce Trio.
Putting Together the Card
After the stenciling was complete, I added black foam tape from Scrapbook.com to the back of the panel, then added it to the Black Onyx mat. I added the layers to a card base made from Gina K Designs Wild Wisteria cardstock.
Sentiment
I used the Hello from the Ruffled Blooms stamp set for the sentiment, and then cut it out with the stitched circle from Master Layouts 7. I also cut a Black Onyx mat layer for the circle and glued the two pieces together. I added the Hello to the front of the card using Scrapbook.com 1″ 1mm black foam tape.
Inside of Card
For the inside of the card, I cut a white rectangle panel and stamped the sentiment on top, using the Ruffled Blooms stamp set with the Lilac inks. I also stamped the floral image from the Sketched Roses stamp set along the left edge.
I adhered the panel inside the card base using temporary adhesive, and I will add permanent adhesive once I write out the message. This allows me to replace the panel if I mess up the writing, instead of having to tear the whole card apart.
