Vintage Rose Gold Window Frame Card: Be Your Beautiful Self Card Kit

In today’s video project, I created a card using the Artful Palette Stencil Set from the Simon Says Stamp February 2026 Card Kit titled “Be Your Beautiful Self” as a template to cut out a window frame collage, then added Tim Holtz Palette Collection paper inside the windows. All products I used to make this project are listed below.
Measurements:
A2 Card Base: 4 1/4 x 5 1/2"
8 1/2 x 5 1/2", Score at 4 1/4"
Rose Gold and Two Black Panels: 4 x 5 1/4"
Inside Panel: 3 3/4 x 5"
NEW Ingenious Product!

In this card kit, the Artful Palette Stencil Set and coordinating die set make collages easy!!! The various die sizes match the windows in the stencils perfectly, and you can use the stencil to line up your collage pieces. There are five stencils included in the set, so you have a multitude of collage options. The stencils can also be used as stencils to make fun grid backgrounds.

I have an additional card project using the Artful Palette Stencil Set where I used a stencil with Tim Holtz Oxide inks, and added a flower to the front for a striking geometric card. Check out the video and blog post if you’d like to view this related project.

Artful Palette Stencil Set as a Window Template
For this card, I used one of the Artful Palette stencils as a template to cut out windows from a piece of Tim Holtz Rose Gold Kraft Stock, and also two layers of Gina K Designs Black Onyx cardstock.
To do this, I attached a panel of the Rose Gold to the Black Onyx cardstock with temporary adhesive. Then I attached the stencil on top of the Rose Gold panel with Pixie Tape, fit the coordinating dies into the stencil openings, and ran the stack through my Sizzix Switch Machine. I repeated these steps until all the windows were cut into the Rose Gold layer and the two Black Onyx layers. Then I glued the three layers together and attached them to a Black Onyx card base. Please see video for further explanation of this process.

Using the Tim Holtz Palette Paper Collection and the Artful Palette dies, I cut out all the pieces to fit into the open windows in the frame. I stamped a sentiment from the Be Your Beautiful Self Stamp Set onto the square piece with VersaFine Clair Nocturne Ink. Once that was complete, I used Vintage Photo Distress Ink on the edges of all the paper pieces to give them an aged, vintage look.
After that, I added all of the die cuts into their spots with glue, and used a weeding tool to push down the edges of the die cuts inside the window wells.

Inside of Card

To decorate the inside of the card, I stamped a sentiment on the panel from the Be Your Beautiful Self stamp set, and added an extra die cut on the top left of the panel.
