Transform Dollar Tree Stickers into Stunning Tiled Cards: 2 Easy Projects!
In this video project, I made two tiled mosaic cards using Dollar Tree Stickers and Spellbinders Cardstock. I also show how to make templates for the stickers and how to use them to create layouts for tiled mosaic patterns. All products used for this project are listed below.

A2 Card Base: 4 1/4 x 5 1/2" when folded
8 1/2 x 5 1/2". Score at 4 1/4"

Tiled Mosaic Templates
When I got home from Dollar Tree, I measured all the different-sized stickers and cut out squares and rectangles of the same sizes. This allowed me to mix and match, and find tiled mosaic layouts that I liked. I also created a 3 x 3 grid layout for the 1 1/4″ stickers using scrap paper and 1/6″ Post-it Note Tape.
Tiled Mosaic Card #1: Dollar Tree Translucent Tiles
For this card, I used a My Sweet Petunia Mis-T ruler to line up the mosaic tile stickers straight on top of a square piece of Simon Says Stamp Glossy White Cardstock. I used the layout on the left above with the stickers I loved in the package. The 1″ square sticker on the top right was a little smaller in measurement than the others, so I used a sliver of another sticker to fill in the gap.
After the tiles had been placed, I trimmed around the edges using my Tim Holtz Guillotine Trimmer to ensure the focal image appeared straight. I added a mat layer from Spellbinders Blue Spruce Cardstock behind the tiled piece, and added the Hello sentiment from the Gina K Designs Vintage Summer stamp set to the bottom of a white panel.
Using my Scrapbook Adhesives Tape Runner, I attached the white panel to the A2 card base, then added the tiled image towards the top. For the inside of the card, I cut a panel from white cardstock, and a mat layer from Blue Spruce. I will stamp on or decorate the panel once I know who it is going to and for what occasion.
Tiled Mosaic Card #2: Dollar Tree Tin-looking Stickers
For the second card, I used the template on the right above, with the 1 1/4″ tin ceiling-looking tile stickers. I created a 3 x 3 grid on a piece of Spellbinders Brushed Silver Cardstock using the 1/6″ Post-It Note Tape. Each opening is approximately 1 1/4″ square to accommodate the larger stickers. I placed the tiles on all the spots around the perimeter, leaving the middle square open.
After that, I removed the tape, and then added a gorgeous tin-looking heart sticker to the middle open spot. I added the tiled panel to a square card base made from Cosmic Sky Cardstock from Spellbinders. For the inside of the card, I cut a square panel from white cardstock. I will add a sentiment to the panel once I know what occasion it is for.
