Sheetload of Cards-April 2025, Easy way to use those cut-apart pages!
For this card project, I used the April 2025 Sheetload of Cards Sketch by Call Me Crafty Al. Each month, Alicia puts out a new Sheetload of Cards sketch that will yield a certain number of cards based on that sketch. For April, you can make 12 cards if you follow the sketch and cutting guide exactly. The measurements to make individual cards are listed on the guide as well. This is a perfect sketch to use those tag-shaped or rectangle cut-apart pages included with scrapbook paper collections. I made three cards for this video project; one with a tag cut-apart, one with a rectangle cut-apart, and one with a tag die cut. This sketch is very versatile and can be altered as needed.
All products used for this project are listed below.
For the first card, I used the Photoplay Paper Everyday Junque Collection. I cut out one of the tags from the cut-apart tag page, and added an eyelet to it with my Cropadile. I added some Cream Cotton Baker’s Twine from Papertrey Ink, and also a sticker from the Everyday Junque collection, to decorate the front of the card.
For the inside of the card, I used a piece of dictionary paper from the Everyday Junque Collection to make a mat. This measures 5 3/8 x 4 1/8″. I added a panel of Spellbinders Alabaster cardstock measuring 4 3/4 x 3 1/2″ on top of the mat, and placed a sticker from the collection to decorate the inside panel.
For the second card, I used the Memory Place Wonderland paper pack to cut out all the pieces for the card, and used some of the scrapbook paper to make a fun card base. I altered the sketch slightly to make the skinny strip wider and longer to accommodate the artwork on the strip.
For the inside of the card, I used a piece of Spellbinders Alabaster Cardstock to make the inside panel. It measures 5 x 3 3/4″. I added the branding strip from one of the scrapbook papers to the bottom edge of the inside panel to decorate it.
For the third card, I stuck very closely to the sketch, except for making the skinny strip a bit longer to keep the sentiment whole. I used a tag die cut from the Woodware Tag Trio Die Set, and added an eyelet to the top to add interest to the front of the card. The paper and stickers on the card are from the Photoplay Birthday Bash collection.
For the inside of the card, I used a piece of Accent Opaque White Cardstock and cut a panel measuring 5 x 3 3/4″, which is the same cardstock I used to cut out the tag for the front. I placed stickers from the collection to decorate the inside panel.
