Making Two Cards with the Photoplay Midnight Garden Collection Pack, A2 and 5×7″
In this video project, I made two beautiful cards using only the contents from the Photoplay Midnight Garden Collection Pack, which includes scrapbook papers and a sticker sheet. The colors and patterns in this collection are absolutely gorgeous! It was tough to not add all the things to the cards, but I wanted to keep it very simple to show that you don’t need a lot of stuff to make amazing cards! No stamps and no dies were used in the making of these cards. All products used are listed below.

For the dragonfly card, I made an A2 card base using Spellbinders Alabaster cardstock. It is a nice off-white color that matched well with the patterned papers. The dragonfly image was from one of the cut-apart pages. I distressed the edges of the dragonfly panel using the blade of my scissors. I cut a mat to put behind the image, then a background panel and the inside mat, from the patterned papers. I added a sentiment from the cut-apart page inside the card.

For the hummingbird card, I cut out one of the 4 x 6″ cut-aparts, and added a mat behind the image before attaching it to the 5 x 7″ card base. I also cut a mat out for the inside of the card using the patterned paper, and added Spellbinders Alabaster cardstock panel on top. For the sentiment on the front of the card, I cut it out from the cut-apart page, and distressed the edges using my scissors. The hummingbird, stamp, inside sentiment, and butterfly are all from the sticker sheet.
