Beautiful Spring Easter Stack Cut Shuffle Cards
In this video project, I made three beautiful Spring Easter cards using the Stack Cut Shuffle Card Technique. It is a very easy way to make multiple cards at once. All products used for this project are listed below.
Measurements
A2 Card Base:
8 1/2 x 5 1/2, Score at 4 1/4"
Dark Mat: 5 3/8 x 4 1/8"
Light Mat: 5 1/4 x 4"
Patterned Papers (3): 5 x 3 3/4", cut at the same time into three sections
I used three sheets of patterned paper from the Scrapbook.com Cottontail Patterned Paper Pad for the technique. For the bunny layers and card mats, I used Hero Hues Premium Cardstock Passion Flower, Sizzix Mystical Color Pack, and Concord & 9th White Glitter Cardstock. I used Simon Says Stamp Vellum with the Sunny Studios Stitched Semi-Circles for the landing spot for the Poppy Stamps Nordic Bunnies.
For the sentiment, I used the Simon Says Stamp Blessings at Easter Stamp and Die Set. I stamped out Happy and Spring three times each, and stacked two layers of matching cardstock die cuts behind each stamped image. This helps to add stability to the die cuts and gives them more depth, especially when it would be difficult to add foam tape behind the sentiments.
I decorated the inside of the card and envelope using the Blessings at Easter stamp set, using the Shades of Purple ink quad from Altenew. I added Iridescent Pinkfresh Studio Dew Drops to finish off the card fronts.
